This years fall events was good this year. The entire first week of October 4-10 was very eventful.
Monday and Tuesday started off with SneakerFest (IG: @rvasneakerfest) these two days was centered around street style fashion with many designers, DJ @Andrewhypes, vendors and many different music artist showcasing their talents after the shows both days. Check out the lineup of the designers and music artist that showcase on SneakerFest Instagram page.
Wednesday was The Creative Suite: Industry Wednesday Affair. Hosted by Dapper Luq & Ryan Azia where there was networking and photography experience setup upstairs of Black Iris venue in Downtown Richmond. There was also a Fashion show showcasing Boutique Very Ashley, located in Stony Point fashion park (went LIVE on my FB page). She has very nice pieces for your everyday wear, night on the town or formal event. We also was served by Chef Tye Hall, the food was amazing she is amazing as well. Last, but not least Micah ‘Bam Bamm White hosted and told an amazing story of how he got started in the industry of Corporate comedy.
Thursday evening was Dinner on the Runway at Les Crepes Carytown. Where the guest had a three course meal by Chef Gonzalo Viloria, while watching a fashion show with local boutiques in Carytown area with a Auction that supported NAMI of Virginia.
Friday was a fun social event of dancing, food and cocktails with DJs Elliott Ness and MASS FX! Unfortunately I didn’t attend, I spent my Friday night with my family watching movies.
Saturday was filled with events. That morning was some relaxation with Yoga instructor Michelle Lee. Seminar by Brandon Burho where you learn how to tap into your creativity and much more. Last there was a Fashion show where Queen Bee & Co. and non-profit organization, A Better day Than Yesterday where participants got a make over and walked with their children down the runway. I would’ve loved to attend
that event, but I traveled down to Norfolk to support my client’s Birthday celebration.
Lastly let’s get into Sunday the last day of RVAFW with the Finale Show with some amazing designers and retailers. There was Kill The Seam, Wav3s, Stoi, Suit Brother, Sisters Boutique, Nikki Mines, HQNM Apparel, Liznel, Veralina and 707.
